We were mildly disappointed by the 6 Tourer. Its worst failing is high-speed stability. It didn’t feel secure at 60mph and was unsettled at 70mph. But there was no sign of this misbehaviour in the lane-change test.
Luggage space is generous, but otherwise our practicality testers were unimpressed. You risk skinning your knuckles while attaching a breakaway cable, and the handbook is devoid of useful towing data.
