The Sportage is an enormously popular tow car. And although we have a couple of reservations about it, we can see why.
Most importantly, it’s stable. Our testers noted some slight movements when the wind picked up, but nothing alarming. However, the ride is on the firm side, especially in solo driving. There’s also more wind and road noise than in some rivals.
Our practicality testers couldn’t find room for all their luggage, and found the space taken up by the 48V mild-hybrid battery left no room for a spare wheel – you rely on a repair kit.
